Trackwork Wednesday 29 May 2019

This morning No Nay Never/Like A Son '17 stepped up to three quarter pace alongside stable mate Not A Single Doubt/Miss Stellabelle '17. No Nay Never/Like A Song '17 is a big, strong filly that has done everything right since her arrival at the stable. Work rider Bastian Neuhaus was aboard for the effort and commented, "She was a total professional today. When I asked her to pick up and travel at half pace, she put her head right down and worked into the bridle beautifully. She worked down the straight with good focus, she has a big stride and gave me a lovely feel throughout. I thought that was an excellent effort, she is a forward filly." No Nay Never/Like A Song is ticking every box at this very early stage and we couldn't be happier with how she is coming along.

Another yearling that caught our attention this morning was Pride Of Dubai/Eyre '17 who worked over 400 metres (2 furlongs) at half pace in company with stable mate Pierro/Role Model '17. Work rider Bastian Neuhaus, who rode her this morning commented, "This is a really nice filly. She worked into the bridle in a nice, forward half pace. She has the right idea and has a lovely action." Pride Of Dubai/Eyre is doing everything right in her first preparation, she completes each thing we ask her to do with aplomb and we are very happy with her work this far.

Yao Dash (Smart Missile/Rahy Storm) put in  pleasing gallop this morning bowling over 800 metres (4 furlongs) at three quarter pace in company with Hemingfield (Deep Field/Hemingway Rules) The well matched  pair worked down the straight in a professional fashion to cover the final furlong in 14.2 seconds and cross the line head to head.  Hemingfield is a horse with plenty of ability and he continues to improve with each gallop under his belt. He is really starting to strengthen and tighten up and it won't be long until he steps up to full paced work.
