Trackwork Wednesday 20 March 2019
Dante Rossetti (Sebring/Cute Emily) looks an absolute picture at this early stage of his preparation and this morning, the gelding galloped over 1000 metres at three quarter pace with senior rider Johnny Livingstone in the irons. He maintained a nice rhythm down the straight to cover the final furlong in 13.8 seconds. This two-time winning gelding has returned to the stable looking very well and we look forward to getting him back to the races this autumn.
Our 2YO colt Choisir/Flaming Magic continues to improve through his preparation, as evidenced by his gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. The colt is still soft at this early stage and he pulled up having a small blow after he covered the final furlong in 14.3 seconds. We have implemented some High Performance Treadmill trotting into his regime to help him tighten up and we expect to see him improve in leaps and bounds over the coming weeks. He has developed into the most beautiful colt and we are looking forward to getting him to his much anticipated debut this time in.

Explosive Truth (Spirit Of Boom/Truly Brave), the half to Group 1 QLD Oaks winner Tinto, was all business in his gallop alongside stablemate Gaelic (Trusting/Irish Darling) this morning. The penny is slowly dropping for this willing colt, and he showed improved focus down the straight, finding the line nicely under senior rider Steve O’Halloran. This colt was bred for class, and he is certainly ticking every box at this early stage of his preparation.
