Purposeful Miss (Shooting To Win/Premeditated) caught the attention of jockey Winona Costin in her gallop over 800 metres at three quarte pace this morning. Winona made the comment, “I really like this horse, she travelled really nice and sweetly on the outside and did everything right today.” Purposefull Miss is a lovely filly, and Winona was most taken by her this morning when the horses worked the reverse way here at Randwick.

Mensa Missile (Smart Missile/Irresistible Char) earned yet another “Best of the Morning’ call when galloping over 800 metres in company with his stablemate Vienna Rain (Manhattan Rain/Vienna Lady). Jockey Nash Rawiller, who was in the saddle commented, “They are a terrific pair. You could not ask for a better ride. He relaxed nicely in the early stages of his gallop so was able to finish off strongly. I couldn’t fault his work.”

Apicius (Redoute’s Choice/Vanilla Princess) has done a great job since her arrival at the stables and this morning, she put in a stylish gallop over 800 metres at three quarter pace. Jockey Rachel King, who was aboard for the effort commented, "She is going really well, she carries herself nicely for a big horse and is getting better each time. She is a sensible filly." Apicius is ticking all the boxes at this stage of her preparation and she seems to be enjoying her time out on the track.
