Trackwork Wednesday 12th December 2018
Got Your Six (Snitzel/Nutkin) was all business in her work this morning. The filly bowled beautifully over 1200 metres at three quarter pace, getting into a lovely rhythm before turning into the straight with confidence and covering the final furlong in 15.1 seconds. Apprentice Quayde Krogh was in the saddle and reported to be extremely happy with her overall performance out on the track. Similarly, the filly made a great impression on the High Performance treadmill, being exceptionally focused in her gallops and moving fluidly through the work. Got Your Six is beginning to come into her own and we look forward to see her flourish as she skips through these initial stages of her preparation.
Suitor (Medaglia d'Oro/Rose Of Kentucky) stepped right up to full paced work this morning. The colt put in a lovely gallop over 1000 metres in company with Classic Player (Declaration Of War/Miss Milanese), before picking up good speed down the straight to stop the clock at 12.6 seconds for the final furlong. Suitor clearly loves his work and this was evident both out on the track and during his High Performance treadmill gallops. He is tickining over very well this preparation, he has certainly strengthen and matured this time around and we are looking forward to getting him back to the trials in the coming weeks.
