Trackwork Wednesday 12 June 2019
Knights Order (So You Think/Lamanka Lass) put in a stylish gallop over 1000 metres (five furlongs) at three quarter pace this morning. He rolled along in a relaxed manner, maintaining a steady pace and stopping the clock at 14.6 seconds for his final furlong. Knights Order has come back in great order and we will continue to build up his fitness over the coming weeks.

Fabrizio (High Chaparral/Desina) couldn’t have been any more pleasing in his gallop over 1000 metres this morning, earning ‘Best of the Morning’ honours from jockey Rachel King. The seven-year-old gelding got into a beautiful rhythm and bowled over the track nicely, stopping the clock at 13.5 seconds for the final furlong. Rachel commented “he was very impressive, he towed me along from the get go.” We couldn’t be happier with Fabrizio’s progress, and we look forward to his return to the track this preparation.

Task And Purpose (Zoustar/Combat Kitty) was impressive this morning in her 1000 metre gallop with jockey Rachel King in the saddle. She travelled down the straight nicely and showed a good turn of foot to stop the clock at 12.2 seconds for the final furlong. Task And Purpose has settled in and is progressing well with her work since arriving at Tulloch Lodge and we are looking forward to seeing what’s in store for her this preparation.
