Trackwork Wednesday 01 May 2019
Deep Field/Disclosure stepped up to full paced work in his gallop over 800 metres this morning. Jockey Rachel King was pleased with the effort and commented, “The gelding has the right idea, he is still learning but he has plenty of ability. I was impressed with his work today.” Deep Field/Disclosure is a lovely gelding that is improving with each gallop, and he’s right on track to get to the trials this preparation.
You Rang (Sebring/Ruud Awakening) showed nice improvement in her gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. Her regular rider, Ed Fiddes, made the comment, “She really dropped her head and relaxed into it this morning, she is doing everything right at this time.” The filly returned to the stable much more mature both mentally and physically, so we will slowly build her up over the coming weeks before we look to intensify her regime.
Lancer (Sepoy/Romincka) is putting his best foot forward this preparation. This morning, the gelding put in a stylish gallop over 800 metres at three quarter pace in company with More Joie (More Than Ready/Ma Joie). Jockey Adam Hyeronimus partnered the gelding and commented, “He is coming up really well, I was happy with that.” Lancer is a lovely gelding that will certainly improve as he gains fitness over the coming weeks and we look forward to seeing his progression this time in.
