Fabrizio (High Chaparral/Desina) bowled over 1200 metres this morning with Tim Clark in the irons. The gelding showed good improvement in his fitness as he quickened down the straight to stop the clock at 12.8 seconds for the final furlong. Elated with the gallop, Tim commented, "He feels much fitter now. The gelding was happy in his work and finished off well. That was great work." Fabrizio is right where we want him heading into his next trial.
Man And Superman (So You Think/Romincka) bowled over 1200 metres this morning. He showed improved fitness as he quickened down the straight to stop the clock at 11.8 seconds for the final furlong. Jockey Tim Clark was aboard for the effort and commented, "The gelding covered the track beautifully. He gave a great feel and I was happy with that." Man And Superman has come on nicely since his first trial this time in and we look forward to getting him back to the trials, before his debut in the coming weeks.
Boudicea Belle (Smart Missile/Vandal) put in a strong gallop over 1000 metres this morning. She showed a good turn of foot in the straight and covered the final furlong in 11.6 seconds. Jockey Josh Parr was aboard and commented, "She gives you a great feel. The filly was easily my best this morning." Boudicea Belle improves each time she steps on to the track. She has tightened up nicely over the past few weeks and we will pencil her in for a trial soon.
Evening Slippers (Snitzel/Flidais) bowled over 600 metres this morning. She is all class this girl and she easily covered the final furlong in 12.2 seconds. Jockey Tommy Berry was aboard for the effort and commented, "She was my best this morning. The filly did that easily and she finished off strongly. That was very impressive work." Evening Slippers is right on track to make her much anticipated debut in the next 2 weeks.
