Let Me Sleep On It (Manhattan Rain/Cheyenne Sue) put in a willing gallop this morning when working on the course proper with jockey Tim Clark in the saddle. Galloping over 600 metres (3 furlongs) this smart filly showed that she is certainly going to be giving the Listed Emirates Park Denise’s Joy Stakes at Scone a good shake where she will competing against some quality fillies. Tim Clark commented, “Her work was terrific. She was very sharp, very alert and very focused.” Let Me Sleep On It’s gallop earned Tim’s 'Best of the Morning' call.
Battle Guardian (Fighting Sun/Devils Arcade) certainly caught the attention of Tim Clark this morning in his gallop over 800 metres (4 furlongs) alongside stable mate Superhombre (El Roca/Paloma) when covering their final furlong in 12.6 seconds. Bred at Gooree Park Stud, this gelding is out of a mare that Gai had great success with for Mr Cojuangco. Battle Guardian is starting to come to hand extremely well this preparation, he is a very nice middle distance horse and has the frame of so many of the good horses that have come from this prestigious farm. Tim Clark made the comment, “I really like him. He is a big, raw, strong gelding with a beautiful action and a physique to match.”
Dynamic Syndication’s filly Ready To Prophet (Smart Missile/Ready To Live) bowled over 600 metres (3 furlongs) this morning on the course proper. Jockey Adam Hyeronimus, who was on board for the effort said, “She was my best of the morning. She worked beautifully and very comfortably.” Ready To Prophet is a glorious filly and she is right on track to make her return to the races in the Listed Emirates Park Denise’s Joy Stakes in Scone on Saturday.
