Trackwork Tuesday 26 March 2019

Dresden Green (Snitzel/Asscher) continues to improve with each start this campaign and this morning, the 2YO colt put in a very sharp gallop over 800 metres on the Kensington track alongside Group 2 Todman Stakes runner up, Bellevue Hill (Pierro/Bellevue Girl). The pair were total professionals throughout the effort, quickening down the straight to stop the clock at 12.0 seconds for the final furlong and pulling up well afterwards. Dresden Green is right on track to contest the Group 1 Inglis Sires’ Stakes in a few weeks’ time and Bellevue Hill will head to Rosehill on Saturday for the Group 3 The Schweppervesence Handicap.

Got Your Six (Snitzel/Nutkin) pleased in her gallop over 1000 metres this morning. She warmed into the effort beautifully and worked to the finish easily in herself to stop the clock at 14.2 seconds for the final furlong. The filly has been the picture of consistency this preparation, with three second placings from as many starts. She is fitter for the runs and she's primed to break her maiden next time out.

Siege Of Quebec (Fastnet Rock/Rose Of Cimmaron) has come through his  recent trial in exceptional form and this morning, the horse was all business in his gallop and found the finish strongly to stop the clock at 12.2 seconds for the final furlong. The effort earned ‘Best of the Morning’ honours from jockey Tim Clark, who will ride him in the Group 3 Doncaster Prelude on Saturday.
