Trackwork Tuesday 25 September 2018

Savapinski (Savabeel/Swarovski) has pulled up from her recent trial beautifully. The mare was raring to go in her gallop over 1200 metres on the Course Proper this morning and she earned 'Best Of The Morning' honors from apprentice Quayde Krogh who commented, "The mare worked strongly and attacked the line. She was very happy in her work." Savapinski looks much fitter from her first trial and we look forward to a big Spring with this talented daughter of Savabeel.

Castel Sant'Angelo (Pierro/Lucky Angel) pleased in his gallop over 1200 metres on the Course Proper this morning. The gelding has pulled up from his debut beautifully, which was evident as he quickened down the straight to stop the clock at 11.5 seconds. Apprentice Lulu Stanford was aboard for the effort and commented, "He showed improved maturity this morning. The gelding knew what he was doing and finished off strongly." Castel Sant'Angelo will be seen back at the races on the 3rd of October.

Equities (I Am Invincible/Rich Megadale) earned a very complimentary report from jockey James Innes Jnr in his gallop over 600 metres this morning. The colt showed good focus in his work and bowled over the final furlong in 11.6 seconds. James commented, "The colt was a total professional and gave me a great feel. I was happy with the way he quickened to the post." Equities is steadily advancing towards mastering his trade and will be seen at the trials in the very near future.

Animal Kingdom/Mardi bowled over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. She covered the final furlong in 14.0 seconds and work rider Ed Fiddes commented, "She has an impressive and elegant action and gave me a great feel. The filly was mature, focused, and ticked all the boxes. That was great work, I really like her." The filly is taking everything well within her stride this time in and we look forward to developing her over the coming weeks before getting her to her debut appearance at the trials.
