Trackwork Tuesday 23 July 2019
It was yet another busy Tuesday morning with plenty of gallopers working through their paces.
Faretti (I Am Invincible/Tai Tai Tess) caught the attention of jockey Tim Clark in his gallop over 800 metres on the grass. The talented colt worked in company with stablemate Regal Stage (Redoute's Choice/Estelle Collection) and the well matched pair was all business as they travelled down the straight stride for stride covering the final furlong in 11.9 seconds. Tim made the comment, "He was excellent this morning, his action felt great and he was very competitive the whole way. I couldn't fault his work." Faretti is thriving in his work at present and his effort earned Tim's 'Best of the Morning' honours.

Artie Schiller/Vivid '16 was most impressive in her gallop over 800 metres this morning in company with stablemate Deep Field/Ubiquity. The lovely pair of fillies cruised around the track in a competitive fashion and showed a very nice turn of foot to stop the clock at 11.1 seconds for the final furlong. Jockey Adam Hyeronimus, who was in the saddle made the comment, "She is a smart filly, that was a very nice piece of work. She was sharp and hit the line really well. She was easily my 'Best of the Morning'." The filly is thriving in her work at present and she is on track to head to the trials.

Another horse, that caught our eye in his gallop this morning was last start winner, Commanding Witness (Star Witness/Commaura). The gelding bowled over 1000 metres quickening the last two furlongs and jockey Quayde Krogh, who partnered him commented, "He towed me the whole way, he is rock hard fit and ready for his next assignment." Commanding Witness is thriving in his work at present and today's effort earned Quayde's 'Best of the Morning' call. Commanding Witness is on track to have his next start in for the BM70 Handicap over 1200 metres at Warwick Farm on July 31st.
