Trackwork Tuesday 23 April 2019
Multiple Group winning Alassio (Foxwedge/Cinque) has returned to the stable looking an absolute treat. This morning, the mare kicked off her preparation with a lovely gallop over 1000 metres at three quarter pace with apprentice Quayde Krogh in the irons. She has retained good residual fitness from her last preparation, so we will steadily develop her over the coming weeks as she prepares to get back to the races this winter.
Impressive last start winner & QLD Oaks bound Pinup Miss (Al Maher/Cymaron) has come through her run in exceptional form. The filly put in a beautiful gallop over 1200 metres with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the irons this morning and showed a nice turn of foot down the straight to cover the final furlong in 11.8 seconds. Adam commented, “The filly feels fantastic, that was well done.” We couldn’t be happier with this talented filly’s progress and how she has come through her last start win and we look forward to seeing her prove competitive in the Brisbane Winter Carnival.
Our beautiful entire Stampede (High Chaparral/Nothin’ Leica Cat) put in a lovely gallop over 1000 metres at three quarter pace this morning. The horse worked over the track in a relaxed rhythm and covered the final furlong in a steady 13.4 seconds. He is still a bit soft at this early stage, so we have implemented plenty of swimming and High Performance Treadmill into his routine to help him tighten up over the next few weeks.
