Fabrizio (High Chaparral/Desina) has come through his recent start in fine form, which showed in his gallop over 1200 metres this morning. The gelding was all smiles as he stretched his legs over the Course Proper, relaxing early in to the effort and galloping in a good rhythm throughout. He pulled up well after he stopped the clock at 12.4 seconds and jockey Tommy Berry commented, "The gelding feels fantastic, he was a total professional throughout and feels quite strong at present." Fabrizio looks exceptional and we look forward to getting him back to the races when he contests the Listed Australia Day Cup on Monday.
Olympic Glory/Ballet Blue showed good improvement in his gallop over 600 metres this morning. The colt relaxed in to a nice rhythm and quickened nicely to the finish, stopping the clock at 12.4 seconds for the final furlong. He is slowly and steadily improving this preparation, with the best still to come as we top off his fitness over the coming weeks and we look forward to getting him to his debut trial this time in.
Minted (Medaglia D'Oro/Fashion) galloped stylishly over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. Alongside stablemate Exchange Risk (Smart Missile/Above Perfection), the colt galloped in a good rhythm down the straight to stop the clock at 13.9 seconds for the final furlong. Work rider Lulu Stanford was aboard for the effort and commented, "The colt is stronger this time in, that was very well done." We will continue tapping away at Minted's fitness and education over the coming days but he is one to keep an eye on over thd coming weeks.
Maid Marilyn (Stratum/Longlea) was full of running in her gallop over 1000 metres this morning. The mare relaxed in to a good rhythm early and quickened down the straight with ease to stop the clock at a steady 13.1 seconds for the final furlong. Maid Marilyn looks a treat, she is holding her condition nicely and is ticking over well as she prepares to get back to her winning ways at the races in the next 10 days.
