Last start debut winner and full brother to Lankan Rupee, Regal Stage (Redoute's Choice/Estelle Collection) and Group winner & Group 1 placed, Siege Of Quebec (Fastner Rock/Rose Of Cimmaron) both received 'Best of the Morning' from their respective jockeys this morning. The pair worked on the Course Proper over five furlongs and flew home over their final furlong to stop the clock at 11.4 seconds. It was really eye catching work. Regal Stage will be seen back at the races in the next seven days and Siege Of Quebec will trial again in the next seven days, after which he will be programmed to run. Both horses are in for exciting campaigns ahead.
Sacramento (Pierro/Alzora) earned 'Best of the Morning' honors from jockey Blake Shinn in his gallop over 600 metres this morning. The colt bowled over the track in a stylish fashion and had no qualms with quickening down the straight to cover the final furlong in 11.8 seconds. Blake commented, "He gave me a lovely feel and he is quite strong at present." We look forward to getting this colt back to the trials in the next few weeks.

Diamond Star Halo (High Chaparral/Justa Babe) impressed jockey Glyn Schofield in her gallop over 1200 metres this morning. The mare bowled strongly throughout the effort and showed a nice turn of foot down the straight to stop the clock at 12.2 seconds for the final furlong with Glyn commenting, "The mare did everything right today, she feels much stronger this preparation." Diamond Star Halo has improved in leaps and bounds over the past few weeks so we expect a competitive performance when she gets to the races either at Canberra on Friday, or Gosford on Saturday.
Cock Match (Zoffany/Danish Dollar) put in a very sharp gallop over 600 metres this morning. Senior rider Steve O'Halloran was aboard for the effort and commented, "The colt relaxed early and finished off very strongly, I was impressed with that effort." Cock Match has only improved on from his first trial and we are looking forward to getting him back to the trials before we program him to run.
Sedanzer (Sebring/Voltdanze) is coming up an absolute treat this time in. The mare put in her best gallop of the preparation this morning over 1200 metres with Winona Costin in the irons. She maintained a lovely rhythm throughout the effort and flew down the straight to stop the clock at 11.8 seconds for the final furlong. Winona commented, "The mare feels fantastic, that was very strong work." Sedanzer has taken huge improvement from her first trial with the best still to come as she builds on her fitness over the coming weeks.
