Trackwork Tuesday 16 April 2019
Aeecee Tong De (Pierro/Brandish) put in a very stylish gallop this morning on the course proper over 1000 metres with jockey Tommy Berry in the irons. The mare's effort earned Tommy's 'Best Of The Morning' call commenting, "She was very sharp in her gallop." Aeecee Tong De worked over the track in a pleasing fashion, showing a good turn of foot to stop the clock at 11.5 seconds for the final furlong. The mare is right on track to make her return to the races and we have penciled her in for the Group 3 Godolphin Crown over 1300 metres at Hawkesbury on 27th of April.
Sweetest Moment (Sebring/Momentously) put in a very pleasing gallop this morning over 800 metres with senior rider Steve O'Halloran in the irons. The filly worked alongside stable mate Duchess Marizza and quickened nicely down the straight to stop the clock at 12 seconds for their final furlong. Sweetest Moment looked nice and strong throughout her gallop, she made it look effortless. We are very pleased with the way your filly is training as she continues to tick all the boxes.
Dante Rossetti (Sebring/Cute Emily) is really coming along nicely this preparation. This morning, your gelding bowled over 1200 metres with senior rider Steve O'Halloran on board. Steve was very happy with his much improved effort as he really picked up well to stop the clock at a sharp 11.4 seconds for the final furlong, with plenty left in the tank. We are very happy with his work so far this preparation and he is now on track to have his first trial back next week.
