Trackwork Tuesday 15 January 2019

Glamour Strip (Rubick/Street Sign) has settled back into Tulloch Lodge a treat after a few easy days of trotting and cantering out on the track. This morning, the filly commenced her pacework over 600 metres at three quarter pace alongside stablemate Luberon (More Than Ready/Crillon). The pair strode out in a rhythmic fashion, showing good relaxation and focus down the straight to stop the clock at 15.0 seconds for the final furlong. Glamour Strip is still soft at this early stage, but she will certainly gain muscle tone as she advances through her preparation.

Transact (Dundeel/Rap Tale) has settled back into the routine here at Tulloch Lodge a treat. The gelding put in a strong gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning, pleasing jockey Blake Shinn. He established a good rhythm and maintained it all the way through, stopping the clock at 14.1 seconds for the final furlong with Blake commenting, "That was a lovely effort." Transact is thriving in his work at present and we will continue to build up his base fitness over the coming days before intensifying his regime.

Decroux (Lope De Vega/Mimes) has pulled up from his trial in fine form, as evidenced by his gallop over 600 metres this morning. He worked very strongly throughout and powered over the last 200 metres in an easy 14.0 seconds, pulling up well following the effort. The gelding put a big smile on jockey Blake Shinn, who commented, "That was a lovely work, I can't fault him today." The gelding is flying at present and we look forward to getting him back to the races soon.

March On Selma (Dissident/Chiquada) has returned to the stable looking very well. This morning, the filly commenced her pacework over 600 metres at three quarter pace. She pleased jockey Blake Shinn as she bowled along pleasantly with stablemate The Swell (Spirit Of Boom/Military Bride) to cover the final furlong in 13.6 seconds. Blake commented, "She is still a touch green, but did her work very nicely." March On Selma is still soft as she is in the early days of her preparation so we will continue tapping away at her over the coming days and we look forward to her progression over the coming weeks.
