Trackwork Tuesday 05 March 2019

Diamond Star Halo (High Chaparral/Justa Babe) has really come into her own this preparation, as evidenced by her gallop over 1200 metres this morning. The mare showed a nice turn of foot down the straight to stop the clock at 11.1 seconds for the final furlong and jockey Josh Parr made the comment, “She was my best this morning. The mare is going as well as ever, she is ready to go.” Diamond Star Halo has taken nice improvement from her first run and we look forward to seeing her back at the races this weekend.

Exciting three-year old Sister Sledge (Uncle Mo/Unblemished) put in a very nice piece of work over 1200 metres this morning. Jockey Glyn Schofield made the comment, “The filly was very strong, she feels fit and ready to go.” Sister Sledge has improved in leaps and bounds following her last start win. She has placed in Black Type before and we are looking forward to getting her back to that level this time in.

I Am Invincible/Princess Peggy has switched on immensely following his jumpouts and this morning, he put in a lovely gallop over 600 metres this morning. The colt got the tick over his stablemate down the straight, showing a good turn of foot to cover the final furlong in 11.0 seconds. We are pleased with this colt’s progress over the past week and the sky seems to be the limit for him this time in.

Blush And Smile (Snitzel/Kiss From A Rose) stepped right up to full paced work in her gallop over 600 metres this morning. The filly had no qualms with the faster pace and showed a very nice turn of foot down the straight to cover the final furlong in 11.3 seconds. She pulled up having a small blow following the effort but the faster work will certainly bring her fitness to the next level over the coming weeks.
