Trackwork Thursday 9 May 2019
Aeecee Tong De (Pierro/Brandish) galloped over 800 metres (4 furlongs) this morning stopping the clock at 12.6 seconds for her final furlong with jockey Sam Clipperton in the irons. Sam was delighted with her effort this morning and commented, "She was my 'Best of the Morning', she is a very foward worker, very professional. I really like her. " Aeecee Tong De is ready to win and dropping in class will make a big difference for this mare. She looked excellent in her work and Sam was really impressed with the way she handled her gallop and found the line this morning.
Dreaming For More (Dream Ahead/More Than Royal) put in a lovely gallop this morning over 1000 metres (five furlongs) with jockey Blake Spriggs on board. Blake was all smiles when he came back in from his gallop and said, "She is going as good as she could possibly go. I couldn't be happier with her." The filly has come through her run in terrific order and Dreaming For More is exactly what she'll be doing when she wins again.
Capucines (Mosman/Golden Statue) galloped over 1000 metres (5 furlongs) this morning covering her final furlong in 12.3 seconds. Jockey Rachel King was aboard for the effort and commented, "She is a lot stronger this preparation, she is really relaxed when you want her to be and she is also right there when you ask her the question." Capucines is the most improved filly in the stables and she is really exciting us this time in. Every time she steps out on the track she says ' look at me ' and you will certainly be looking at her when she heads to the trials in a couple of weeks'time. She is a lovely filly and going places.
