Trackwork Thursday 21 March 2019

Exciting three-year old Pinup Miss (Al Maher/Cymaron) continues to do everything right this preparation. The filly finished a strong closing third at Kensington on debut and she has taken further improvement in her gallop over 1200 metres this morning. Jockey Adam Hyeronimus made the comment, “I couldn’t fault her work this morning, I was happy with that.” Pinup Miss is absolutely thriving, her coat looks fantastic and she is ticking every box as she edges closer to her next start at Kensington on the 6th of April.

Impressive last start winner Autumn (Medaglia D’Oro/Spring Venture) pleased her regular rider Ed Fiddes in her gallop over 1200 metres this morning. He made the comment, “She felt fantastic today, she built into it steadily and finished off very strongly. I was really happy with that.” This filly is absolutely flying this preparation and she's on track to contest the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes over 2000m on the 30th of March.

Our unbeaten Japanese import, Wolfe (Novellist/Peace Of World) is taking shape very nicely this preparation and he has benefited hugely from his recent trial. This morning, the gelding bowled over 1200 metres in a steady fashion, covering the track with a lovely action and pulling up well after he stopped the clock at 13.6 seconds for the final furlong. Wolfe has gone ahead in leaps and bounds over the last 10 days and with one more trial under his belt, he will be ready to get back to the races.

Redoute’s Choice/Piste Noire is still gaining fitness and strength at this early stage in her preparation. This morning, she bowled over 600 metres at three quarter pace alongside stablemate Pincer (Redoute’s Choice/Pretty Pins) and the pair worked to the finish in a professional fashion, stopping the clock at 14.4 seconds for the final furlong. This filly is ticking every box at present and we look forward to producing her over the coming weeks.
