Belle Du Sud (Savabeel/Croix Du Sud) has emerged from her recent start in fine form, which showed this morning when she bowled over 1200 metres with jockey Travis Wolfgram in the irons. The mare put in a good first up effort having had a bit of time off the scene and has improved from the added fitness. She easily covered the final furlong to stop the clock in 11.2 seconds this morning, pulling up well afterwards. We look forward to getting her back to the races soon.
Major Wager (Exceed and Excel/Grenada Road) stepped right up to full paced work this morning with jockey Travis Wolfgram aboard for the effort. Alongside stablemate Dreaming For More (Dream Ahead/More Than Royal), this filly showed good speed covering the final 200 metres in 11.4 seconds. She pulled up having a small blow, which is only to be expected but it'll help bring her along as she prepares for a trial within the next few weeks.
Aeecee Tong De (Pierro/Brandish) has certainly made big improvements this preparation and looked well within herself this morning when bowling over 1000 metres with work rider Bastian Neuhaus in the irons. She has come through her trial stronger than ever, which showed when she galloped her final furlong in a slick 10.8 seconds. She is on track to get to the races in the next 2 weeks.
Faretti (I Am Invincible/Tai Tai Tess) is taking everything well within his stride this preparation and bowled over 400 metres at three-quarter pace this morning with work rider Rajinth Singh in the irons. He worked well in company, galloping his final 200 metres in 13.7 seconds. This colt is learning valuable lessons of his trade, which will only benefit him further down the road and we couldn't be happier with Faretti's progress this time in.
