Trackwork Thursday 16 May 2019
Last start winner Frenzied (Americain/Paris Tryst) bowled over 1200 metres (6 furlongs) this morning with jockey Rachel King in the saddle. The three-year-old gelding has come through his run in superb order and was all business in his gallop. Rachel commented, “He feels super, he is very proud of himself at the moment. I couldn’t be happier with his work this morning.” Frenzied’s effort earned Rachel “Best of the Morning’ call.

Stable favourite Stampede (High Chaparral/Nothin’ Leica Cat) put in a steady piece of work this morning at three quarter pace over 1200 metres (six furlongs). Jockey Joshua Parr was aboard for his effort and said, “He was very nice. He loved his work this morning. His action was nice too.” We are taking our time with the six-year-old horse this time in and it is paying off and he is coming along beautifully for us. Stampede is on track to have his first trial this preparation in approximately two weeks’ time.

Single Blonde (Not A Single Doubt/Regrowth) put in a very pleasing gallop this morning over 600 metres (3 furlongs) stopping the clock at 12.3 seconds for her final furlong. We couldn’t be more pleased with how she has come through her run and jockey Joshua Parr, who was riding her this morning was very impressed with her. He commented, “She is a fast filly, there is a lot of depth to her speed. I kept a good grip on her this morning, I think I could have broken the clock if I let her.” Single Blonde has a lovely natural cruising speed without even asking her to gallop and it won’t be long until she breaks her maiden status.

Call Me Royal (Sebring/Royal Chalee) galloped over 1000 metres (five furlongs) this morning with jockey Rachel King in the saddle. The three-year-old filly looked very sharp in her work this morning covering her final furlong in 11.6 seconds and Rachel had nothing but positive comments for her. “I was really happy with her, she is in great frame of mind at the moment. She relaxed in her work and finished off her gallop strongly,” she commented. Call Me Royal is on track to contest the 3 Year Old BM74 Handicap over 1100 metres at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.
