Sedanzer (Sebring/Voltdanze) has returned to Tulloch Lodge in fine form and is looking very well in herself. This morning, she commenced pacework over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace with jockey Blake Shinn in the irons. The mare covered the final 200 metres in 14.1 seconds, pulling up having a small blow with Blake commenting, "She bowled around nicely and is ticking over well. That was good work." Sedanzer is carrying good condition coming in to this preparation and we look forward to a big Spring with her.
Written Tycoon/Aqualuna bowled over 400 metres at three-quarter pace this morning alongside stablemates Redoute's Choice/Arabian Gold and Sweetest Moment (Sebring/Momentously). Apprentice Rachel King was aboard for the work and commented, "She is a big, strong filly and is very professional." Keep an eye on this girl over the coming months.
I Am Invincible/Watchful bowled over 600 metres at half pace on Wednesday morning, earning good feedback from apprentice Rachel King. The colt worked in company with Sepoy/Romincka and Pierro/Princess Quality to cover the final 200 metres in 14.6 seconds. Rachel commented, "This colt is really switched on and very intelligent. That was good work." I Am Invincible/Watchful loves to please which shows in his work, and we are impressed with his progress.
Glamour Cruise (Smart Missile/Bondarenko) earned "Best of the Morning" honors from jockey Blake Shinn when bowling over 1000 metres. The filly pulled up well after covering the final 200 metres in a quick 11.5 seconds. Blake commented, "This filly shows a lot of promise. She was attentive and focused the entire time, and finished strongly. That was great work." Glamour Cruise is steadily progressing this time in, showing good maturity over the past few weeks.
