Trackwork Thursday 11 July 2019

This morning, Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) earned apprentice jockey Louise Days’ ‘Best of the Morning’ honours in his gallop bowling over 1400 metres.  Louise made the comment, “ I love this fellow,  he cruised around and kept improving all the way. Even though he is stayer he is still quite sharp in his work. He just kept giving and giving.” Social Element is right on track to contest the Listed Queensland Cup over 3200 metres at Eagle Farm on July 20th.

Stampede (High Chaparral/Nothin’ Leica Cat) is looking an absolute treat and this morning, he  caught the attention of senior rider Alana Pearson in his final piece of work leading into Saturday’s race, the Listed Winter Stakes.  Alana commented, “He feels great, he travelled really well the whole way and found the line strongly. I couldn’t be happier with that.” We can’t wait to get the mighty son of High Chaparral back to the races, he is feeling and looking as good as ever.

Bellevue Hill (Pierro/Bellevue Girl) continues to impress in his track work and this morning was no different in his gallop over 800 metres in company with fellow 2 Year Old Group 3 winner, Vinicunca (I Am Invincible/Xandretta). Jockey Quayde Krogh, who was aboard for the effort commented, “ He was really good, he is feeling very well and he looks to be in for a big preparation.” Bellevue Hill has come back bigger and stronger this preparation and we are excited to get the talented son of Pierro back to the races for an exciting Spring campaign.
