Trackwork Monday 9 July 2018

Wimlah (Sebring/Caiguna) has come through her debut win in superb form, which showed this morning when she bowled over 600 metres with Blake Shinn in the irons. The filly covered the final 200 metres in 11.9 seconds with Blake commenting, "She has come through her run very well and feels great. She is a talented filly." We have held this filly in high regard since she arrived at Tulloch Lodge, and she is certainly living up to our expectations.

Cismontane (High Chaparral/Viviane) completed a lovely gallop this morning over 1200 metres at three quarter pace with jockey Blake Shinn aboard. Blake was very happy with the gelding commenting, "He was jumping out of his skin this morning and could have kept going. That was strong work." We are pleased with the former Melbourne Cup contender's steady improvement this time in.

Pandemonium (Sebring/Tapanappa) earned "Best of the Morning" from jockey Blake Shinn this morning when bowling over 1200 metres at three quarter pace. Delighted with the effort Blake commented, "She has really developed and strengthened and will be in for a big Spring." Pandemonium looks a picture and has been eating well, showing all the signs of a horse that is thriving in work.

We Have Lift Off (Exceed And Excel/Houston Benefactor) has come through her last start in fine form which showed this morning when she bowled over 1000 metres at three quarter pace with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the irons. Adam commented, "She feels well within herself and was free in her action. That was good work." The filly took no ill effect from her last start and will certainly improve second up with added fitness on her side.

Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) stepped up nicely in his work this morning when bowling over 1200 metres at three quarter pace with apprentice Rachel King in the irons. The gelding covered the final 200 metres in a steady 14.3 seconds with Rachel commenting, "He did everything I asked and gave a good feel. That was great work." Social Element is tightening up nicely and is ticking all the boxes at this early stage in his preparation.
