Trackwork Monday 29th June 2020

Rock Amore (Fastnet Rock/Nicamorae) has been in training for five weeks and this morning he galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Adam Hyeronimus, he clocked 14.5 seconds over the final 200 metres and Adam said, "He was very good today. He settled nicely, travelled strongly for me and he worked to the line well." We are very pleased with this gelding's progress and he's handled this step up to full pace work nicely in his stride. His fitness will improve hand over fist now that he's doing fast work and we look forward to watching him progress.

Skymist (Lonhro/Daytime) has been in training for six weeks and this morning she galloped solo over 1000 metres on the polytrack. Ridden by jockey Adam Hyeronimus, she clocked 11.4 seconds over the final 200 metres and Adam said, "She quickened up really well for me and she’s working brilliantly." This filly really appears to be in flying form at present. She’s a consummate professional in all of her work, and her other regular work rider Kacie Adams is full of superlatives for your filly. She appears to have taken a huge step forward from her previous preparation, and we can’t wait to see her trial next week.

Only Mine (Smart Missile/Ever The Same) has been in training for two weeks and this morning she completed three quarter pacework over 800 metres on the polytrack alongside stablemate Saimaa (Pride Of Dubai/Eyre). Ridden by work rider Kacie Adams, she clocked 14.5 seconds over the final 200 metres and Kacie said, "She was very good today and she travelled really well to the line." We are delighted with her and she has taken the step up to pace work nicely in her stride. She is swimming in the afternoons to help her shed some excess weight, and she's doing everything that we are asking of her at this stage. We will continue to bring her along gently before gradually increasing the tempo of her gallops.
