Trackwork Monday 20 May 2019

Dawn Passage (Dawn Approach/Raja Lane) has returned to the stable a big, strong colt and this morning, he put in a lovely gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace. He worked nicely for senior work rider Johnny Livingstone, and maintained one steady rhythm down the straight to cover the final furlong in 14.9 seconds. The colt has returned to the stable looking an absolute treat and he is certainly one to watch over the winter and spring.

First start winner Point Of Interest (The Factor/Streaking Comet) kicked off her preparation with a 600 metre gallop at three quarter pace this morning. The filly bowled over the track in a lovely pace, working nicely alongside stablemate Aubers Ridge (Epaulette/Fromelles) and stopping the clock at 14.2 seconds for the final furlong. Point Of Interest may not be the biggest filly in our stable, but she is very honest and we look forward to developing her over the coming weeks.

Thunder Pace (I Am Invincible/Moonlight Music) put his best foot forward in his gallop over 800 metres at three quarter pace this morning. The gelding was a consummate professional throughout the work, relaxing early into a good rhythm and bowling down the track stylishly to cover the final furlong in 15.1 seconds. He is still quite soft at this early stage, after a bit of time off the scene, so we will bring him along very steadily over the coming weeks.
