Trackwork Monday 15 July 2019

This morning, Significant Rule (Medaglia D'oro/Crowned Glory) put in a pleasing gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace in company with stablemate Rock Amore (Fastnet Rock/Nicamorae). The well matched pair cruised over the track in a willing fashion to stop the clock at 14.7 seconds for the final furlong. Jockey Quayde Krogh, who was aboard for the effort commented, "He worked well this morning, he was strong throughout the gallop and while he is still quite soft, he towed me through the line." Significant Rule seems to be enjoying his work out on the track and he is ticking all the boxes at this early stage of his preparation.

Maggie Miss made the quantum leap to full paced work in her gallop over 1000 metres on the polytrack. She built into her work nicely and showed a good turn of foot to stop the clock at 12.2 seconds for the final furlong. Work rider Vanessa Grant, who partnered her commented, "She worked well and felt comfortable in her stride, then quickened nicely underneath me when I asked her to, I was impressed with that."

Loose Buttons (Zoustar/Sunday Rose) stepped up to three quarter pace in her gallop over 600 metres. She worked in company with stablemates Spirit Of Boom/Deb's Choice '17 and Fighting Sun/Gina Lollawitcha '17 and the trio of yearlings were all business as they bowled over the track head to head to stop the clock at 14.5 seconds for the final furlong. Work rider Nitin Parmar, who was aboard for the effort commented, "She handled the step up really well today, she was comfortable at that rhythm and she did it quite naturally. I was happy with that." Loose Buttons is doing a fantastic job so far and she continues to take it all in her stride.
