Trackwork Monday 11 March 2019

Exciting European import Knight Errant (So You Think/Lamanka Lass) commenced his pacework over 800 metres at three quarter pace this morning alongside stablemate Dante Rossetti (Sebring/Cute Emily). The pair worked over the track in a relaxed rhythm and covered the final furlong in 14.8 seconds. Knight Errant is still a bit soft at this early stage, so we will build up his base over the coming weeks before we implement some faster paced work into his regime.

Ready To Prophet (Smart Missile/Ready To Live) put in a very pleasing gallop over 800 metres at three quarter pace this morning. The filly was all business throughout the work and showed exemplary focus down the straight to stop the clock at 14.2 seconds for the final furlong. We have added some swimming and trotting on the High Performance Treadmill into her routine to help her build strength over the coming weeks and we look forward to see her improvement this time in.

Our gorgeous 2YO filly, More Than Ready/Friendly Seas has returned to the stable looking an absolute picture and she got right back into the routine here at Tulloch Lodge with a nice gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. She worked in company with two stablemates and the trio easily covered the final furlong in 14.8 seconds, pulling up well following the effort. More Than Ready/Friendly Seas has come back in looking much stronger and she will only improve with additional fitness over the coming weeks.

Our well-bred Redoute’s Choice/Piste Noire filly bowled over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. She worked over the track with a smile on her face and willingly covered the final furlong in 14.3 seconds. The filly is still learning her trade, but she has a lovely temperament that will certainly see her improve over the coming weeks. Redoute’s Choice/Piste Noire is a beautiful filly with plenty of upside so we look forward to producing her this time in.
