Trackwork Friday 22 March 2019
Artie Schiller/Silent Cash has returned to the stable looking very well in himself and this morning the gelding commenced his pacework over 600 metres at three quarter pace in company with Exsupero (Exceed And Excel/Pure Energy). The pair were total professionals throughout the effort, showing good focus down the straight to stop the clock at 13.9 seconds. Artie Schiller/Silent Cash has a lovely, willing nature and we are pleased with how he has started his preparation.
Under My Spell (Pierro/Illusionary) put in a pleasing gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace this morning. She is still gaining fitness at this early stage and she pulled up having a small blow after she bowled over the final furlong in 14.5 seconds. We will begin to intensify her regime over the next seven days, and we look forward to seeing her further improvement moving forward.
Deep Field/Ubiquity is a lovely style of filly with will to burn and she kicked off her preparation this morning with a gallop over 600 metres at three quarter pace alongside stablemate Essence Of Beauty (Fighting Sun/Vain Attraction). We were pleased with how this lovely filly relaxed early into the effort and maintained a good rhythm down the straight. This filly is by hot young sire Deep Field, who is responsible for the current favourite for the Group 1 Golden Slipper, Cosmic Force.
