Trackwork Friday 12 July 2019

It was a very busy morning for the stable with 30 horses trialling over the course of the morning, including some very exciting Spring prospects.

Japanese Imports and exciting stayers, Hush Writer(Rulership/Star Of Sapphire) and Wolfe (Novellist/Peace Of World), were sent out to have a nice stretch and extended piece of work this morning and we could have not been happier with their performanes. Hush Writer relaxed nicely in the run under the guidance of jockey Nash Rawiller, who commented, "He jumped well and put himself on pace easily.  I could have won the trial if I had wanted to."

It was an excellent trial by Wolfe this morning, who did it all on natural ability. Jockey Tim Clark , who was aboard for the effort commented, "I was very happy with him this morning. He jumped well, got into a nice spot behind the leaders, weaved his way through the field and towed me to the line. He worked home beautifully and that will bring him on again."

You Rang (Sebring/Ruud Awakening) put in yet another impressive performance in her second trial this morning.  She has an abundance of speed and natural ability and jockey Jason Collett commented, "It was a very good trial. She behaved in the gates and was quick away. She started to get into a rhythm mid trial which was great and when I gave her a squeeze in the straight, she found again. I was very happy with her, she's a really nice filly in the making."

Another filly that caught our attention this morning was Lakia (Redoute's Choice/Arabian Gold).  Jockey Tim Clark was in the saddle and commented, "She trialled very well. She showed good early speed after jumping well and only got stronger as the trial went on. She has returned in such good order and another trial should top her off nicely in preparation for race day."
