IN THE CONGO returns from his victory in the G1 Golden Rose in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes over 1200 metres at Flemington. This talented colt has settled into life in Melbourne like a duck to water, and he delighted his race rider Craig Williams when galloping down the straight in blinkers on Tuesday morning. It's a very tough race, as you'd expect, but he's incredibly tough and genuine and he'll be right there at the finish.

ZOUMON needs on scratching to gain a start in the G1 VRC Derby. This son of Zoustar beat older horses over 2050 metres at Moe last time, and whilst this is a sharp rise in class he'll relish the 2500 metres and we're keeping everything crossed that he sneaks into the field. RIODINI returns in the G1 Cantala Stakes over 1600 metres, and he enjoyed a short freshen up after the Epsom Handicap so he's ready and raring to go. KNIGHTS ORDER contests the Hotham Handicap, formerly known as the Lexus. He hasn't quite hit his form yet this time in, but this is a well trodden path to Melbourne Cup glory and we're hoping to see him bounce back to his best. SIR LUCAN has taken everything in his stride since arriving in Australia. He's settled into his new surroundings at Werribee without an issue, and we can't wait to see this son of Camelot step out in Tuesday's Melbourne Cup.

Back in NSW, VANGELIC backs-up in the $7.5mil Golden Eagle at Rosehill. This admirable daughter of Vancouver never runs a bad race, and she was a close fifth in The Invitation last weekend. She's racing for Multiple Sclerosis Australia, and there's no doubt she will run a huge race for them. Stable favourite DAWN PASSAGE resumes for the first time this preparation in the $1mil. Classique Legend Stakes over 1300 metres. He's taking on race-fit horses who contested The Everest, so it's a very tough ask but it's just wonderful to see him back at the races and we think he can still run a big race and acquit himself with credit.

At Goulburn on Sunday, ZOOMURUDI makes his debut in the Maiden Handicap over 1600 metres and he should be suited by this trip first-up. CROSS TALK is a winner in New Zealand and he's having his first run for us and in Australia in the Class 1 Handicap over 1400 metres. He's got a big weight, but he's a lovely horse with scope to be better than this level and we're confident he's the one they must all beat.
