Who could forget the blistering speed and sheer dominance of our unbeaten Golden Slipper winning Champion 2YO, Vancouver. Now standing at Coolmore Stud for a fee of $30,250, Adrian and I have enjoyed lovely success with his first crop of racing age, with Postcode ((ex Never Forget (FR)) finishing 2nd in the Group 3 Breeders' Plate and breaking his maiden by an impressive 3.4 lengths, and Vangelic (ex Angel Bee) winning in town on debut and finishing 2nd to the country's best performed 2yo filly, Away Game in the Group 2 Percy Sykes Stakes.
For $150,000 we were able to secure a beautiful daughter of Vancouver at this year's Magic Millions Yearling Sale, out of the Stakes winning Tale Of The Cat mare, Native Legend (USA), from the draft of Coolmore Stud - MORE INFORMATION
A good looking, alert filly with great length and a beautifully feminine frame. She is a lovely Classic style of filly and she oozes quality and class. From a lovely middle distance American female line, and bred on a similar pattern to 9x Grade 1 winner, Leading 3YO Filly on the 2016 WTR (Int.), Equal Leading 3YO Filly on the 2016 WTR (Mile), & Champion 2YO Filly & 3YO Filly in USA in 2015 & 2016, SONGBIRD, this filly will really hit her straps as a 3yo, but she may just be racing sooner than you think as Vancouver has stamped his progeny well.
