What A Weekend!

I love making history and breaking records and that is what just happened at Caulfield on Saturday. Global Glamour, the all-girls filly with 40 owners worldwide won the Group 1 Thousand Guineas and the week before at Randwick she won the Group 1 Flight Stakes – it's unheard of and incredibly exciting for all involved!

All the girls were glammed to the hilt and it was a dream come true, but nothing beats a hard days work then having dinner with my darling Rob at Il Bacaro in little Collins street, our restaurant of choice.

On Sunday I jetted back to Sydney for Sunday at the stables. I couldn't believe how many owners and visitors showed up, it was absolutely bursting with joy and laughter. Our mini shetland pony Brian was warn out from all the kids rides!

After the stables I caught up with Kate, Luke, Sophia and Grace and it was just so joyful, then back home to relax and watch my most favourite television show 'Vera' with our telly dinner. Rob says Vera is very much like me - both women on a mission.

These are the weekends that you cherish the most and myself and Adrian are just so grateful for all the well wishes we have received over the past few days.

It's back to Melbourne tomorrow as the team down south are heating up ready for their assignments over the Spring Carnival. It's one of the most exciting times of the year and I will be sure to keep you all posted. May the winners keep on rolling, stay tuned, Gai X
