WEDNESDAY 5 JULY 2017

Antonio’s Pride (Smart Missile/Alalunga) galloped over 6 furlongs under jockey Josh Parr. Finishing the last 200m in 11.1 seconds, Josh reported, "He's in very good form, running right to the line. I think he has a good future ahead of him.”

Hemingways (Delago Deluxe/Forever The Chill) continues to show promise in her early morning gallops. This time under jockey Tommy Berry, the filly looked very sharp over 3 furlongs.

Tommy was also on board Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) who galloped over 6 furlongs. The horse has progressed further from his Monday workout, with Tommy adding, “He’s much more professional this preparation, he was my best for the morning.”

Another to catch Tommy’s eye was Potentate (Fastnet Rock/Goody Two Shoes). The imposing 3 year old colt completed three-quarter pace work over 6 furlongs, with Tommy saying afterwards, “For a big horse, he carries himself beautifully. I’m really impressed with him.”

Star of New York (Manhattan Rain/Charlety Star) and jockey Keagan Latham completed a three-quarter pace gallop over 4 furlongs. The unraced 2 year old colt has recently returned from a spell, and Keagan reported him to be in great shape. One to look out for.
