Ugo Foscolo (Zacinto/Bequests) continues to progress beautifully when bouncing out over 5 furlongs. With senior work rider Steve O’Halloran in the saddle, the gelding looked very relaxed with Steve commenting afterwards, “That was very good work, he’s really turned a corner and he was my best this morning.”

Han Xin (Sepoy/Mysterious Light) breezed over 5 furlongs with apprentice Rachel King in the saddle. The 2YO colt looked very sharp and put in a very pleasing final gallop ahead of his intended race on Saturday at Newcastle. A smiling Rachel added, “He was brilliant, he will be very hard to beat this weekend. He’s a lovely horse.”

Fresh Start (Pierro/Cadazzle) galloped over 5 furlongs with senior work rider Harry Bailey. The colt looked very strong with Harry reporting afterwards, “He’s progressing nicely and did that very easily.”

Recent runners Dossier (Sebring/Diana’s Secret) with Steve O’Halloran and Just Gorgeous (Fastnet Rock/Satinka) with Rachel King galloped over 6 furlongs. The pair both appear to have come on a great deal since their respective runs with Rachel adding, “She’s improved hugely and bowled along nicely before finishing the last 200m strongly.”
