Street Pursuit (Street Cry/Flying Success) worked over 7 furlongs with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle. The gelding looked really well in himself, running the last 200m in a comfortable 12 seconds. Brenton reported the horse to be in rude health, adding, “That was great work, he did it very easily.”

Apprentice Rachel King partnered Gold Standard (Sebring/Coniston Gem) over 5 furlongs. The unraced 2YO colt put in a scintillating piece of work, finishing the last 200m in a very quick time with Rachel adding, “That was super, he feels very fit and will be extremely hard to beat on debut.”

Arbeitsam (Snitzel/Workhard) galloped over 6 furlongs with senior work rider Steve O’Halloran in the saddle. Last week’s impressive Warwick Farm winner showed no ill effects from that performance, looking very relaxed on the dirt. If he backs up on Saturday he will be extremely hard to run down.

Soviet (Stratum/Inchita) with jockey Corey Brown and Siege Of Quebec (Fastnet Rock/Rose of Cimmaron) with Steve O’Halloran worked together over 6 furlongs on the dirt. Both horses looked in good nick, with their work riders reporting the horses to be in terrific form. I look forward to seeing Siege Of Quebec perform on Saturday at Rosehill, where I believe he will maintain his unbeaten run and makes it two from two on the track. You won't get a price for Soviet at Kembla the following week but I expect to see him in the Winner's Circle.

History Repeats (More Than Ready/Tuesday Joy) continues to progress and is showing heaps of promise in her training. Galloping over 6 furlongs with Rachel King, she bowled along nicely and looked more relaxed. A smiling Rachel reported afterwards, “That was a beautiful gallop, I am very happy with her. I would absolutely love to partner her on race day.”

THUNDER PACE is thriving on his work and on Friday bowled over 600 meters with stablemate Dubai Harbour

SUNDAY SESSION galloped on Thursday with stablemate Sondelon over 1200 meters and I couldn't be more pleased with him.
