Trackwork Wednesday 9 May 2018

MAID MARILYN (Stratum/Longlea) has come through her first up run in super order and this morning she was apprentice Rachel King's best when working over 1000m on the dirt. Clocking her final furlong in 11.6 seconds, Rachel added, "It was very good work. She strode out well and was bouncing around the track. She loves her work and is feeling very well in herself." The filly will head back to the races in 7 days' time.

Our multiple Stakes winning son of So You Think, NORTHWEST PASSAGE (ex Danevade) is back in training and ready to get on with it this preparation after a lovely three-quarter paced gallop this morning. Apprentice Quayde Krogh was in the saddle and made the comment, "It was nice, strong work. He had his partner covered the whole way and was very competitive to the line. He travelled around nicely on the bridle and feels in very good order." It is still very early days for the gelding but he looks bigger and stronger than ever as he prepares for his spring campaign.

Last start winner, ALASSIO (Foxwedge/Cinque) was Quayde's best this morning when bowling over 1200m solo on the dirt. She picked up solidly over each furlong to stop the clock at 12.8 seconds for her final 200 metres with Quayde commenting, "It was beautiful work. She feels excellent and has really done well since her win." This mare has done an absolute treat since her win and she is on track to head back to the races in 7 days' time. Back her.
