Hussterical (Beneteau/Hussterics) was apprentice Rachel King's best of the morning on Wednesday when working over 1000m, picking up over her final 200m in 11.2 seconds. The filly looks in great order and is fast approaching a trial this preparation.
2YO filly Majara (Charge Forward/Magestique) put in a promising gallop on Wednesday morning when working over 600m on the B-grass. Jockey Johan Victoire gave the filly a glowing report and commented, "She is very professional and towed me to the line. She was my best of the morning." Majara has really picked up over the last few weeks and will be seen at her debut trial over the next 10 days. She's one to watch.
Tough As Teak (Not A Single Doubt/Woodie) has come through her run on unsuitable ground in good order and this morning she was senior rider Steve O'Halloran's best of the morning when galloping over a short, sharp 600m. Running home over her final 200m in 10.9 seconds, Steve commented, "She attacked the line and is ready to go." The mare will step out for her next assignment at Wyong on the 4th of January.
The son of High Chaparral, Cismontane (High Chaparral/Fatoon) is coming to hand very well this preparation and this morning he worked over 1200m with jockey Koby Jennings in the saddle. The colt looked strong throughout the gallop with Koby commenting, "I can't fault his work, he feels great and towed me to the line over his final 200m," running home in 11.8 seconds. Cismontane will be seen at the trials in the next 10 days.
