Trackwork Wednesday 26 July 2017

Mystic Empire (All Too Hard/Princess Wu) breezed over 6 furlongs with Rachel King in the saddle. The filly looked very comfortable as she ran home over her last 200m in 11.6 seconds with Rachel commenting, “She felt great, her fitness is continuing to improve and she towed me to the line."

Fresh Start (Pierro/Cadazzle) with Tommy Berry in the saddle strode out over 5 furlongs on the dirt. The colt looks a picture and took everything in his stride as he ran the last 200m in 12.1 seconds. Tommy is a big fan of this colt and reported, “He’s a progressive individual and will make a nice three-year-old type. He did it very easily this morning."

Tommy also piloted the newly gelded Cajetan (Pierro/Lucky Angel) who paired with his stablemate Red Zephyr (Snitzel/Red Tycoon) and Christian Reith in a three-quarter pace gallop over 5 furlongs. The 2YO’s looked in great order as they cruised round the track with both riders reporting their mounts to be in rude health. It is still early days for these rising three-year-old's but they are certainly heading in the right direction.

Another pair who worked at three-quarter pace over 5 furlongs were Epic Rant (Snitzel/Air’s Precious) with Christian on board and Fly By (Charge Forward/Midnight Joy) with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the saddle. Both horses were their riders best for the morning with Adam adding, “He worked beautifully, I am very happy with him at this stage in his preparation," and Christian commenting, "I really like this filly. She has a stack of ability."

THUNDER PACE is thriving on his work and on Friday bowled over 600 meters with stablemate Dubai Harbour

SUNDAY SESSION galloped on Thursday with stablemate Sondelon over 1200 meters and I couldn't be more pleased with him.
