Trackwork Tuesday 6 November 2018

Ferrucio (Medaglia d'Oro/Lady Lynette) has come through his trial beautifully. This morning, the gelding put in a pleasing gallop over 1200 metres with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the irons. He quickened down the straight to stop the clock at 11.8 seconds for the final furlong and Adam commented, “The gelding has really come in to his own. He was willing and focused, that was great work.” We couldn’t be happier with Ferrucio’s improvement this time in and he'll be seen back at the trials very shortly.

Master Ash (Sebring/Hanky Panky) has returned to the stable looking an absolute picture. This morning, the colt commenced his pacework over 1000 metres at three quarter pace. He galloped stylishly down the straight to stop the clock at 14.9 seconds for the final furlong and pulled up having a small blow afterwards. The colt will only improve as we build upon his base fitness and we look forward to developing him further over the coming weeks.

Rapido Chaparro (High Chaparral/Amouage) put in a pleasing gallop over 1200 metres at three quarter pace this morning. The gelding was happy in his work and bowled down the straight with a smile on his face to stop the clock at 13.9 seconds for the final furlong. Work rider Ed Fiddes was in the irons and commented, “The gelding was my best this morning. He gave a great feel, I was happy with that.” Rapido Chaparro is right where we want him at this stage in his preparation.

Japanese bred Wolfe (Novellist/Peace Of World) has only improved following his impressive debut win. This morning, the gelding put in a lovely gallop over 1200 metres. He impressed Steve O’Halloran, who commented, “The gelding was super, he couldn’t be going any better at present. He was my best this morning.” Wolfe is a gelding on a mission, he has strengthened up beautifully and looks a treat heading in to his next start.
