Trackwork Tuesday 25 July 2017

Street Pursuit (Street Cry/Flying Success) has come through his last start win in terrific order and on Tuesday morning he bowled comfortably over 6 furlongs under jockey Brenton Avdulla, running the last 200m in 11.4 seconds. Brenton said afterwards, “That was excellent, he ran right to the wire."

Global Glamour (Star Witness/Spectacula) is coming to hand nicely this preparation and she made further progress breezing over 6 furlongs this morning. Ridden by senior work rider Steve O’Halloran, the filly looked very comfortable throughout and towed Steve to the line over her final furlong. The soon to be four-year-old mare is progressing beautifully ahead of a return to the track in the coming weeks.

The beautifully bred Long Time Ago (Redoute’s Choice/Once Were Wild) was fabulous on Tuesday morning as she galloped over 6 furlongs with apprentice Rachel King in the saddle. She did everything very easily running her last 200m in 11.7 seconds with Rachel adding, “She feels super and should be able to go one better this weekend." The filly is nominated on Saturday for Rosehill over 1500m.

Another who has been busy recently is Arbeitsam (Snitzel/Workhard) and the gelding is nominated for Rosehill this Saturday. This morning he did a very sharp piece of work over 5 furlongs with Steve O’Halloran in the saddle. Steve said, "It was very strong work. He's in great order and should go very close again this weekend."

End Of The Road (Not A Single Doubt/Strawberry Girl) worked on the grass over 5 furlongs with Brenton Avdulla on board. The colt has matured beautifully towards the back end of his two-year-old career and is much more relaxed in his work this preparation. He is progressing really well with Brenton commenting, "He was very focused and relaxed nicely throughout. He is certainly heading in the right direction."

THUNDER PACE is thriving on his work and on Friday bowled over 600 meters with stablemate Dubai Harbour

SUNDAY SESSION galloped on Thursday with stablemate Sondelon over 1200 meters and I couldn't be more pleased with him.
