Trackwork Thursday 9 October 2017

CABEZA DE VACA (Northern Meteor/Dirty) has come through his first up win in sensational order and this morning he breezed over 1200m with senior rider Johnny Livingstone on board. Cruising home over his final furlong in 12.5 seconds, Johnny commented, "He feels super. I can't fault him." The gelding will head to Rosehill on the 18th and will again, prove tough to beat.

The daughter of More Than Ready, PURRARI (ex Purrpurrlena) has come through her trial well and gave Ranjeet a lovely ride this morning over 1200m. Running home in 11.1 seconds in her final furlong, Ranjeet simply commented, "Terrific." She will head back to the trials in the next 7 days, after which she will be ready to head to the races.

SEDANZER (Sebring/Voltdanze) is getting ready for her first up run at Rosehill on the 18th and this morning she was very strong over the 1200 metres with Steve O'Halloran in the saddle. Working home over her final 200m in 12.9 seconds, Steve commented, "It was very good work. The further she goes, the better she felt." This mare has already shown an abundance of ability on the track and we are looking forward to getting her back to the races in 10 days' time.
