English (Encosta De Lago/Court) has come through her trial in sensational order and this was confirmed by senior rider Steve O'Halloran this morning when working the mare over 1200m. Steve commented, "It was very good work. Her fitness has improved since her trial and she was my best of the morning."

The beautifully bred Stakes winning daughter of Fastnet Rock, Miss Debutante (ex More Than Royal) pleased apprentice Rachel King when cruising over 1200m, running home over her final 200m in a steady 12.8 seconds. Rachel made the comment, "It was really nice work. She got into a lovely rhythm throughout and towed me to the line." The mare will head to her first trial in 10 days' time.

Another well bred mare, History Repeats (More Than Ready/Tuesday Joy) was Rachel's best of the morning when striding out over 1200m, sprinting home over her final 200m in 10.9 seconds. Rachel made the comment, "She has come on hugely since her first up run and was very strong to the line." She will head back to the races in 10-14 days' time, expect a much improved run.

Social Element (Savabeel/Pare) will prove tough to beat on Saturday at Beaumont and this morning he had his final gallop over 1200m with jockey Tom Sadler in the saddle. Working home over his final 200m in 12.3 seconds, Tom reported, "He has a lovely cruising speed, I really like him. He was my best of the morning."

The very smart 2YO filly Withering (More Than Ready/Single Style) delighted Steve this morning when bowling over 600m alongside her stablemate. Steve commented, "She is a very nice filly. I like her a lot and she has a very good idea of what is being asked of her." This talented youngster will be aimed at the 2YO official trials in the coming weeks. She is one to keep your eye on.

Another to follow amongst the 2YO's is Emirates Park bred Santos (I Am Invincible/Ghaliah) who was jockey Brenton Avdulla's best of the morning when working over 600m alongside his stablemate Gayson (Savabeel/In The Mood). Both colts were the standouts of the morning Brenton commenting, "Santos is a very nice type. He gives you a great feel and has a beautiful action," and Steve reported, "Gayson is still learning but he has plenty of ability. I like him a lot." They too will be aimed at the 2YO official trials in the coming weeks
