Trackwork Thursday 21 June 2018

Bandol (Snitzel/Miss Match) is progressing nicely this preparation and bowled over 600 meters with stablemate Constanzia (Pierro/Mafia Miss) this morning. The two finished the last 200 meters in 12.3 seconds and the filly pleased her rider, apprentice Rachel King who commented, "That went really well. This filly gives you a good feel and did everything I asked." Bandol is tightening up nicely and we are excited to see her trial soon.

Fiorentino (Fiorente(IRE)/Fulminate) put in a solid gallop over 800 meters at three quarter pace Monday morning with stablemate Autumn (Medaglia D'Oro/Spring Venture). The pair bowled over the last 200 meters in a steady 13.3 seconds and the colt pulled up having a small blow. It is still early in his preparation and we look forward to seeing Fiorentino gain muscle tone and fitness as he edges closer to a trial.

Artie Schiller/Vivid bowled over 400 meters at three quarter pace on Monday morning with stablemate Jasmine Wind (Sebring/Muscovado). Pleased with the effort, work rider Toby Steele commented, "She went along in a rhythmic stride and did everything I asked. That was good work." This filly is looking great and happy in herself and we couldn't be more pleased at this stage.

Kooza (High Chaparral/Cirque Du Soleil) was very workmanlike this morning when galloping over 1200 meters with stablemate Mushaireb (Invincible Spirit/Hidden Brief). Work rider Ed Fiddes was pleased with the effort commenting, "He galloped along well and covered the heavy track nicely. I was happy with that." We are delighted with how Kooza has come back in this preparation and will continue to fine tune his fitness over the coming days leading up to his first up trial on Monday 25th June at Rosehill.
