ALASSIO (Foxwedge/Cinque) returned to training late last week and she has settled right back into her routine. On Friday morning she commenced three-quarter pace work over 1000 metres alongside her stablemate Fly By (Charge Forward/Midnight Joy). It was an easy return to work with her clocking her final furlong in 15.1 seconds. It is still early days but she was a standout this morning and we are looking forward to getting her back to the races and hopefully maintain her unbeaten record.

GAYSON (Savabeel/In The Mood) took part in a jumpout this morning where he performed very well with work rider Steve O'Halloran aboard. He loaded and stood quietly before breaking well and settling behind the group. He built momentum into the turn and was strong to the post with Steve commenting, "I am very happy with his work. He did everything right from the moment he loaded." The gelding is really coming to hand nicely this preparation.

MAID MARILYN (Stratum/Longlea) participated in a jumpout where she pleased her jockey Nicolas Barzalona. She loaded well and showed her natural speed when she was the first out of the barrier and quickly into stride. She shared the lead to the turn and overall put in a very good performance with Nicolas commenting, "She did very well. She loaded without fuss and broke quickly. I am very happy with her." Maid Mariyln is handling her work with ease at this stage of her preparation and it wont be long before she is seen back at the trials.
