Trackwork Friday 1 September 2017

It was a quiet morning of gallops, however a few really stood out amongst the rest.

The mighty Fabrizio (High Chaparral/Desina) has returned to the stable better than ever and on Monday morning he cruised over 1200m at three-quarter pace with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the saddle. It was good, steady work with Adam commenting, "He is always such a pleasure to ride and is coming up a treat this preparation." It's still early days for Fabrizio but he is certainly heading in the right direction.

The gorgeous son of Manhattan Rain, Star Of New York (ex Charlety Star) put in a solid gallop on Friday morning when working over 1200m alongside his stablemate Wu Zhi Mountain (Pierro/Miss Marx). The pair partnered well, working home over their final 200m in 11.2 seconds. Both were two stand out's for the morning and are on their way to the trials in the near future.

Maid Marilyn (Stratum/Longlea) got the tick of approval from apprentice Rachel King when bowling comfortably over 1000m at three-quarter pace alongside her stablemate. Although it was only steady work, she did it very easily in herself and is coming up well this preparation ahead of a return to the trials in the coming weeks.
