Track Work Monday 24 July 2017

The newly gelded Zeppelin (Fastnet Rock/Media) did a three-quarter pace gallop over 6 furlongs this morning with jockey Tim Clark in the saddle. The gelding has been progressing well since returning from a spell and his fitness continues to improve. Tim said afterwards, He was very relaxed but travelled really well, he was just how you would want him. He’s improving with every piece of work.”

Superior Choice (Redoute’s Choice/Bhandara) is relatively early on in her training regime for this preparation. The 2YO did a three-quarter pace gallop over 5 furlongs with Adam Hyeronimus in the saddle. Adam said, “She’s still learning, but she has a great attitude towards her work. She picked up the bridle nicely and travelled all the way to the line, she was my best this morning”.

Grand Finalist (Wanted/National Anthem) did a three-quarter pace gallop over 6 furlongs with Tim Clark on board. Tim dismounted the gelding and reported, "It was terrific work. He cruised around on the bridle, he was very relaxed and got into a lovely rhythm."

Lebron (So You Think/Mrs Slocom) did a three-quarter pace gallop with jockey Adam Hyeronimus on board. The gelding is nominated for a race over 1850m on Thursday at Newcastle and that should set him up nicely as he aims to go through his grades this preparation. Adam said, “He feels well in himself, I let him bowl along and he should run well based off this morning's effort."

SUNDAY SESSION galloped on Thursday with stablemate Sondelon over 1200 meters and I couldn't be more pleased with him.
