Trackwork Wednesday 23 May 2018

The Group 2 placed daughter of Sebring, SERENA BAY (ex Caiguna) was apprentice Rachel King's best this morning when working over 12.8 seconds. She worked solo over 1200m with Rachel making the comment, "It was very good, strong work. She feels well in herself and did that easily." We are very much looking forward to getting her back to the trials and onto the races this time in.

Another 'best of the morning' was given to our 2yo colt VOSTI (The Factor/Gunhilda) when working over 600m alongside his stablemate. Clocking his final furlong in 11.5 seconds, apprentice Quayde Krogh commented, "It was very good work. He quickened when asked and was very strong through the line." Keep an eye on this youngster.

Our 2yo filly, LONHRO/INCHITA has been thriving in work down south at our Flemington stable and is on a path to the Group 1 VRC Oaks, a race her granddam won and held a record for, for 11 years. Gai was in Melbourne this morning to supervise her work with the Lady Trainer commenting, "She is such a lovely, leggy filly with a really nice disposition. She has strengthened up hugely this preparation and is ticking all the right boxes. I'm delighted with her." This girl is another one to keep your eye on over the coming months.
