Trackwork Tuesday 6 June 2017

Broadside (Raise The Flag/Anam Cara) was apprentice Rachel King's best of the morning today when he bowled over 7 furlongs on the steeple grass. He covered the final 200m in 13.4 seconds and didn't want to finish there. Rachel says, 'He's in such good form at the moment. He uses himself well and covers the ground with ease.'

Poldark (Pentire/Bluegrass) seems to have come back stronger than ever this preparation. He was jockey Tim Clark's best of the morning when he covered 7 furlongs on the steeple grass. He came home in 12.2 seconds with Tim saying, 'He's feeling great and should be hard to beat next time out.'

Gold Standard (Sebring/Coniston Gem) has returned to work looking fantastic. He covered 5 furlongs this morning under jockey Corey Brown who made the comment, 'This was really nice work. He covers the ground so easily and had plenty in reserve at the end.'
