Prompt Response (Beneteau/Prompt) bowled along over 6 furlongs with jockey Adam Hyeronimus in the saddle. The mare cruised round before picking up nicely to run the last 200m in an easy 12.5 seconds with Adam commenting, “I’m very happy with her work. She picked up nicely and has retained much of her base fitness from her last preparation. She was my best this morning.” The Group 1 placed mare will now head to the trials at Randwick on Monday.

Stonebrook (Hinchinbrook/Calaluna) breezed over 6 furlongs with jockey Blake Shinn on board. The gelding looked very professional, running the last 200m in 11.5 seconds with Blake reporting, “That was very strong work. He settled well before quickening to find the line strongly.” He too will resume his campaign at the trials at Randwick on Monday.

Recent winners Runaway (Manhattan Rain/Catshaan) with senior work rider Steve O’Halloran and Gold Standard (Sebring/Coniston Gem) with Adam Hyeronimus on board paired up as they galloped over 6 furlongs on the course proper. The two striking colts were very impressive as they cruised around, with both riders reporting their mounts to be in great form as they prepare for their respective spring carnival targets.

Apprentice Rachel King partnered Delos (Makfi/Asterie) in a gallop over 6 furlongs on the dirt. He’s really improving and is beginning to show his true potential as he ran the last 200m in a slick time of 11.2 seconds. Rachel was very pleased with the workout adding, “I really like him. He’s got a great attitude, he loves his work and he has a stack of ability.” Delos will head back to the trials at Randwick on Monday and all going well, he will be seen at his debut in a months' time.
